Interpreting:
Let Alltradis guide you through the process
Being an interpreter requires a high degree of mobility: translators travel frequently to conferences, companies and political events and can work anywhere in the world. They must be extremely rigorous because their translations are of vital importance in political and economic decisions. Their work also requires a quick and precise analytical mind, endurance and excellent concentration.
Interpreters with political expertise
Working in the political sector requires the strictest of standards, which our team has been familiar with for over 20 years now. We prepare for each and every conference several days or even weeks in advance. Accompanying a VIP means preparing for every eventuality. Interpreters must do their research and imperatively know everything about current events, issues or campaigns in order to understand, anticipate and apprehend the needs of the mission and thus be as accurate as possible in their translations.
It goes without saying that these missions, even more than conferences, are very stressful as unforeseen circumstances arise often. But the high stakes are what make these missions so motivating. Being part of a team, waiting in the wings for someone to come and get you, sometimes interpreting without having received a single preparatory document or even the agenda for a diplomatic meeting: a day in the life of a political interpreter.
Being called upon for this type of assignment is above all a great recognition of our professional skills. Interpreting for the French President at a conference is an immense privilege and a great source of pride in the life of a conference interpreter.
At Alltradis, our interpreters regularly accompany international delegations, ministries, and dignitaries at the Elysée Palace.
